Best of Biblical Ephesus Tour
Ephesus with the Terrace Houses, the Temple of Artemis and the House of Virgin Mary — our most complete one-day pilgrimage.

The marble city of the apostles in the morning; a hillside village of orchards, lace and homemade wine in the afternoon. Two worlds, one gentle day.

There is a lovely symmetry in this day. In the morning you walk the greatest city of Roman Asia with the Book of Acts in hand — the theater of the riot, the library, the marble avenues of Paul's Ephesus. In the afternoon the road climbs eight kilometers into the hills and six centuries forward, to Sirince: a village of whitewashed houses stacked on a green hillside, founded — so its people say — by Greeks leaving Ephesus as the harbor and the city faded.
Sirince is not a museum; it is alive. Lanes smell of fruit wine and fresh pancakes, grandmothers sell lace from their doorsteps, and the little 19th-century church of Saint John the Baptist still stands among the mosque and the orchard terraces. After the grandeur of Ephesus, the village answers a different question: what did the faith and life of this valley become? The House of Virgin Mary and the Temple of Artemis fold into the day whenever you wish.
Away with your private guide and driver — city first, village after, and the pace always yours.
The full classic route from the upper gate: Odeon, Curetes Street, Temple of Hadrian, Library of Celsus and the Grand Theater of Acts 19.
Whatever is local and fresh, cooked by local chefs and cooks, then a friendly look at traditional handcrafts with local artisans. Browse freely — no pressure, no obligation.
The afternoon belongs to the hillside: cobbled lanes, the old Greek houses, the church of Saint John the Baptist, orchard terraces and doorstep tastings of the village's famous fruit wines.
On the road between city and village stands the lone column of the ancient Wonder — a ten-minute pause that says more than most museums.

This is a door-to-door private tour: your guide and driver come to you. The pin below is Kusadasi Cruise Port, where most of our days begin — hotel, Izmir port and Izmir airport pickups are all included at no extra cost, and the exact spot and time are confirmed in writing before your date.

The single biggest waste of a day at Ephesus is the queue. Book any tour with us and you never stand in one: your guide has the tickets in hand and walks you straight through the priority entrance.

Your guide holds your tickets before you arrive. You do not queue at the box office, and you do not queue again at the turnstile.
At Ephesus in cruise season the ticket queue alone can run 30–45 minutes in full sun. Our guests walk past it.
As a TÜRSAB-licensed agency we hold priority ticketing access at the sites we visit, which is what makes the fast entry possible.
The same applies on every Gezginol tour anywhere in Türkiye — Ephesus, Istanbul, Cappadocia, Pamukkale and beyond, not only the tours on this site.
The queue is what we remove, not the ticket price: we add nothing on top of it. You pay exactly what the Ministry of Culture and Tourism charges at the gate, your guide simply buys it for you, so you never handle a ticket desk.
If your ship calls at Kusadasi or Izmir, chances are we have waited at that gangway before — name card in hand, day planned backwards from your all-aboard time.

Guaranteed pickup at the gangway and back on board in good time — for every ship on this list.
Indirectly but beautifully — its Greek Orthodox founders traced their roots to Ephesus, and their two village churches carry the valley's Christian story into the modern era. It is the "afterwards" of the Ephesus chapter.
Yes — many guests slot it in before Ephesus. The day stretches to about eight hours and loses none of its calm.
Nothing on our tours is obligatory. The tastings are village hospitality, not a sales stop — sip, smile, and stroll on whenever you wish.

Every tour is private and tailored to your pace. Send us your date — a local expert replies within 24 hours.
